Our Uji Gyokuro (also known as Jade Dew) is a prized steamed green tea from Uji, Kyoto Prefecture.
A special grade gyokuro green tea of select fine green tea leaves that are grown under shade for 20 days before promptly deep steamed upon harvesting.
The steeped tea yields a rich green liquor with strong notes of distinctive gyukuro umami and hints of sweet corn. The vegetal cup also leaves the palate with a creamy mouthfeel sensation. We recommend steeping the tea gently ,only with warm water.
